Poor posture stems much deeper then simply standing up right. Do you sit or stand for long periods of time? Are you overweight? Do you carry heavy backpacks, lift children, lift heavy items at work? Do you experience knee, upper, or lower back discomfort? Improper posture is a root cause to muscular dysfunction.
Correcting your posture can help:
Prevent Injury
Correct Muscular Imbalances
Decrease Strain on Joints
Decrease Pain or Discomfort
Create Muscular Efficiency
Improve Appearance!
Standing tall is not only good for your body, but good for your mind. Demand a presence in the room. I hid behind my insecurites far to long, so if you have insecurities I get it!! Do not let who you are on the outside define who you are on the inside. I learned along time ago no one will treat you with respect unless you project that you deserve it. Tip: Stretch your chest, and strengthen your core and back.
